Can you use my existing locks or do I need all new hardware?

In most cases, we can re-pin your existing commercial locks into a master key system. We'll check your hardware during the site visit and let you know if anything needs replacing.

What happens when a tenant moves out?

We reset just that unit's cylinder so the old tenant key no longer works. Your master key still opens everything, and no other tenants are affected. It takes about 15 minutes per door.

Can tenants copy their keys at a hardware store?

Not with restricted keyways. The key blanks we use aren't available at retail stores or kiosks. Tenants have to come through you to get copies, so you always know how many keys are out there.

How many levels of access can you set up?

As many as you need. A typical setup is: owner (opens everything), maintenance (common areas only), and individual tenant keys (their unit only). We can add more levels for larger buildings.

What if I add more units or doors later?

We design every system with expansion built in. Adding new doors to your existing master key is straightforward and doesn't require rekeying the rest of the building.
